The American Occupational Therapy Association requires entry level education at the either the master’s OR doctoral level for occupational therapists. Either level of entry into practice is acceptable.

Mission

The mission of the Occupational Therapy program is to provide competent health care providers who possess basic skills as health care providers, consultants, educators, managers, researchers, and advocates for the profession and the consumer. In addition the program seeks to improve patient access and quality care for rural and underserved populations through interprofessional education.

• 澳门合法赌场官网 is a participant in OTCAS (Occupational Therapy Centralized Application Service). To apply to our program, applicants must complete the OTCAS application. The rolling admissions cycle runs from mid-July to early June of each year. Applications must be in VERIFIED status by OTCAS in order to be considered. (Please note that the verification process can take 3 – 4 weeks to be verified from the time the application is submitted.)

  • Application for the Summer 2023 program with graduation in December 2025, 必须在5月2日前通过OTCAS验证, 2023年才能被考虑.

• Priority in application review and invitation to interview will be given to those applicants who have completed their OTCAS application submitted.

• Admission to the ISU OT program is competitive. Each year the program receives approximately 200 verified applications. The number of applicants interviewed each year varies and up to 30 students are admitted to begin classes in late May each year.

• Interviews are conducted throughout the year with decisions made shortly following the completion of interviews. The interview day consists of a 15 minute interview with members of the OT Program and alumni and optional tours of the ISU campus and other facilities that will be used by OT students.

• Applicant scoring is based on a rubric scale that includes, 但不限于:GPA, 医疗保健/志愿者的经验, reference letters, and Indiana residency. An interview tool and observation tool are also evaluated and included in the final admission decision.

• Each application is evaluated on its own merits. ISU is committed to recruiting and retaining a diverse and well-rounded group of students who represent all facets of society.
